  The growing season for Vintage 2022 began very cool before warming up in late November and through January for even flowering and berry development.

  We started picking Merlot on the 28th March, followed by Shiraz and then picking our best Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards around 20th April. Cool weather allowed for long steady ferments and optimal tannin extraction.

• Tasting Notes

  2022 Cabernet Merlot is comprised of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, matured for 14 months in 27% new French Oak. A nose of blackberry and blue fruit complemented by dark chocolate, leading into a complex palate of smooth tannins and cedar spice.
