2021 was an outstanding vintage. The mild growing season resulted in considerable depth of colour and flavour in the wines. The 2021 Cabernet Merlot is comprised of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot, matured for 13 months in new French oak.
Tasting Notes
Red fruit, liquorice and vanillin oak on the nose. Dark satsuma plum on the palate with well integrated tannins and subtle oak complexity. Plush Merlot fruit and a sage lift complement Cabernet's intensity for a rich and structural wine.
