  The Balnaves Coonawarra Vineyard was established in 1975, and is situated at the southern end of the Coonawarra Terra Rossa strip. The family, which has been associated with the district since 1855, remains fully committed to a high level of ‘hands-on’ involvement.

• Winemaking

  Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were specially picked for the Cheeky Red Rose to capture their bright, crunchy red fruit flavours. After skin contact overnight, the juice was gently pressed off and cool fermented in stainless steel to retain freshness.

• Tasting Notes

  Fresh vibrant nose of strawberry, cranberry and sherbet, the palate is crisp with bright zippy acid and a balanced, smooth finish. Best enjoyed chilled while relaxing in the sunshine.
